Before admission to A Vision of Hope an interview is necessary between the potential client and our admissions coordinator. Most of our clients attend an inpatient primary treatment program for drug or alcohol dependency prior to admission and interviews are usually set up through the individual's counselor, case manager or aftercare coordinator.
Potential clients who are not attending treatment must submit an application (available on our home page) via email or U.S. mail. Once an application is received a client will be called directly for their interview once a bed becomes available.
All applicants will be required to pass a drug test before being accepted into A Vision of Hope. Once the prospective client has completed the interview process and has been approved for admission, they will be provided with an entrance date. Upon entry, they will meet with the house manager to finalize the intake process.
Upon Admission, clients can be expected to be screened for drugs and/or alcohol, have their belongings searched, given a tour of the home, meet with the house manager and review the rules and expectations, and be assigned a room/bed.
